Tum Fıstıklı Suriye Kare (square) Baklava is made from about 40 layers of wafer-thin filo dough. The filo dough ratio is lower than other baklava. Tum Fıstıklı Suriye Kare Baklava is made with large amounts of whole Antep boz pistachio used. It consists of larger slices compared to other baklava. In addition, more butter is used than with classic baklava and the amount of sugar syrup is slightly less.
Suriye Kare Baklava is made from the ingredients granulated sugar, drinking water, wheat flour, butter, whole Antep boz pistachio, wheat starch, egg, table salt and some secret ingredients of the blacksmith.
Fıstıklı Suriye Kare has an average shelf life of 10 days, provided the baklava is stored in a cool and dry place.
